
KOLKATA: The national selectors will get a good chance to assess and pick India’s whiteball squad for the Asia Cup when almost all big names line up for the upcoming Duleep Trophy tournament later this month. Although named in the Bengal probables list for the season, Shami did not report for the camp that is presently on in Kolkata. However, the Bengal team management is optimistic of getting his services this season. “Shami is doing everything to get ready for the season,” a Bengal team source told TOI.
