
Mahindra & Mahindra has a big unveiling planned for this year’s Independence Day. Aiming to create buzz around its upcoming products, the carmaker has been releasing multiple teasers videos and images, revealing their silhouette and a few design details.
On 15th August 2025, the homegrown automaker will showcase its four all-new concept SUVs, namely, Vision T, Vision S, Vision SXT and Vision X. Mahindra’s all-new flexible architecture ‘Freedom NU’. Additionally, the updated Bolero Neo SUV is scheduled to be unveiled on the same day.
Here’s a brief on the five upcoming Mahindra SUVs and the new platform.
Mahindra Vision SUV Concepts

The Mahindra Vision T concept is likely to preview the Thar.e electric, featuring a squarish bonnet with latches, pronounced wheel arches and all terrain tyres. Reports suggest that the Vision X concept might showcase a new derivative of the XEV 9e coupe SUV in its close-to-production avatar. It could be the upcoming Mahindra XEV 7e 7-seater electric SUV, which is slated to go on sale in the Q1, FY2026. The Vision S and SXT are expected to be the concept versions of the Scorpio N and Scorpio N-based pickup truck, respectively.
2025 Mahindra Bolero Neo
The heavily updated Bolero Neo will make its debut on August 15. Spy images reveal that the SUV will come with completely new body panels, Thar Roxx-inspired circular headlamps, new LED fog lamps and a more upright nose. Its newly-designed multi-spoke alloy wheels will be sourced from the XUV700. Under the hood, the 2025 Mahindra Bolero Neo is likely to feature the existing 100bhp, 1.5L, 3-cylinder diesel engine.
New Mahindra Platform
The Mumbai-based automaker will showcase its new ‘Freedom NU’ platform, which will debut on the new-generation Bolero SUV in 2026. This new architecture is likely to be a monocoque platform, compatible to multiple powertrains including petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric.
