Samsung has already confirmed that it’s extending the availability of the One UI 8 beta based on Android 16 to the Galaxy S24 family next week, and the Galaxy S23 devices next month. But, unfortunately, the Korean company didn’t go into any more details – it stopped short of providing actual rollout dates.
That’s where a tipster over on X comes in, alleging to have the exact dates for both rollouts. So, according to him, the Galaxy S24 devices will get access to the One UI 8 beta on August 13, while the Galaxy S23 handsets will have to wait until September 8.
These are the tentative dates for now, but apparently Samsung “loves surprises” and so may release the betas for the older flagships one or two days earlier or later.
As for the finalized stable One UI 8 release, that will hopefully go out to the Galaxy S25 models at some point next month. The older devices will get it after that, in inverse order of the phones’ release (so the newer ones get it faster and so on).
